Hacking Growth with Sean Ellis and Morgan Brown [Louder Than Words]

It's been about eight months since I last recorded an episode of Louder Than Words

In that time, I've received countless supportive emails and tweets from listeners asking about new episodes, or simply looking to chat about their favorite ones. I've gotten dozens of pitches, none seeming to motivate me to press record again. Then Inc. named the podcast one of the "12 marketing podcasts you should listen to every week."

When that article was published I remember thinking, "man, I really need to start it back up again if I'm going to deserve praise like that." But like anything else, momentum is key. And after five months of no recording, I had none. I figured maybe it was a side project that had a great run, and I'd leave it be. Maybe there would never be another episode of Louder Than Words.

Then Sean Ellis emailed me about his new book with Morgan Brown, Hacking Growth

Sean is a guy I've always had a tremendous amount of respect for, as along with others, he pioneered an approach to gaining traction that companies like Facebook, Pinterest, Airbnb, Dropbox (the list goes on) have all used to maintain insane growth curves and sky-high valuations.

So when Sean said he was putting out a book with Morgan Brown, his cofounder at GrowthHackers.com (and cofounder of Full Stack Marketing...and COO at Inman News...seriously, these guys are busy!) I knew there was no better time than now to kick off what I'm affectionately calling, season two.

So here it is. I hope you enjoy our conversation.
